Military Spouse Career Advancement Initiative

Through the DETC (Distance Education and Training Council), Blackstone Career Institute is proud to support the Military Spouse Career Advancement Initiative program sponsored by the Department of Defense and the Department of Labor. Under this initiative, funds are available for training in target industries that represent portable careers, including health care. Blackstone’s Allied Health training programs (Medical Transcription, Medical Billing & Coding, Medical Office Assistant, & Dental Office Assistant) qualify for this program. Defense Activity for Nontraditional Education Support (DANTES)

Blackstone Career Institute appears in the Defense Activity for Nontraditional Education Support (DANTES) Catalog of Nationally Accredited Distance Learning Programs, allowing active military personnel to seek tuition assistance for independent study, external degree, or vocational training programs. Montgomery G.I. Bill

The Montgomery G.I. Bill program provides up to 36 months of education benefits to eligible veterans. This benefit may be used for degree and certificate programs, apprenticeship/on-the-job training and correspondence courses.
