Advanced Paralegal Courses

For over one hundred years, Blackstone has been widely recognized as the leader in at-home distance education for paralegals and legal assistants. Blackstone Career Institute offers advanced paralegal courses on eight important legal topics. Our advanced paralegal courses are written by distance education experts and reviewed by legal industry professionals. Each course includes a new textbook, study guide, access to the Online Student Center with instantaneous exam results, instructor support, and a certificate of completion. Courses contain six exams consisting of twenty multiple-choice questions that assist the Blackstone faculty in assessing your understanding of the concepts taught. Students are allowed one year to complete each course; however, many complete their studies in just a few months.

Every advanced paralegal course qualifies as continuing legal education credit for Certified Legal Assistants (CLAs) and is approved by NALS. . .the association for legal professionals as continuing legal education. NALS has approved each course for 45 hours towards the 75 hours of CLE needed for five-year PLS and PP recertification. Each course is also worth 20 hours towards the 50 hours needed for recertification if you are a Certified Legal Assistant.
